We have narrowed down our honeymoon options to two general places – Turkey and Morocco. We would ideally love to spend a week being tourists in either of those places, and then spend a few days eating, drinking, and relaxing in Paris. Since we have both been to Paris, we won’t feel the need to get up early and see all the sights, and can just take it easy. But which to choose? Please give me comments if you have been to any of these places! Thanks hive!

I have been to both places and they are fantastic! You can’t go wrong with either. Istanbul is more modern, sophisticated and European. Surrounded by water, it is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen.
Morocco has a more exotic feel. It is so interesting, and different, I can’t wait to go back. Casablanca doesn’t have much to see. I would stick to Marrakesh, or if you want a 2nd city go to Fez. Marrakesh has beautiful homes converted into small (3-10 room) hotels called riads. I think it would be very romantic. If you do choose there I have the name of a really great guide who can take you to historical sites, or shopping.
Let me know if you have any more questions about either.

If you’ve been to Paris, I say spend more time somewhere new!
