Mpix.com is a great option! Bay Roes is another higher end consumer photo lab. Basically steer clear of drug stores, box stores, shutterfly, etc.

adoramapix.com is also a great place to get them printed. I got a bunch of photos printed from them — everything from 4×6 up to 11×17 and they all turned out great! They shipped them in sturdy cardboard so nothing bad happened to them. I’m going to use them again for maternity/baby pictures as well.

@setsail2night:  Your photographer?

We are going to try to do snapfish or something like that…online photo sites.

Do you have Ritz camera in your area? They might do it. Another idea is Office Depot or Staples on photo paper?

@setsail2night:  For wrapped canvas, quality enlargements, and photobooks, I love picaboo.com.  For cheap, everyday prints or enlargements, I go to Walgreens.

adorama or mpix is my online choices. Snapfish is garbage. Drug stores will be garbage printing too. All of them, they dont have pro lab printing period. As a photographer i have tried tons of printing options. It will be worth it to pay an extra $.20 per print for pro printing.

If I were you look for a local pro lab first. I have a great one near me and they are the same cheap price you can find at Walmart. I can online upload and pay then just pick up in 24-48 hours.

@crayfish:  I second Mpix, I used them when printing our engagement pics and they turned out GREAT! Very nice quality. Planning on using them for our wedding pics too.

I really love adoramapix for photo printing. I have been very happy with both the quality and the timeliness of service every time I have ordered from them. 🙂

I have tried them all and I am all about MPix – Fuji Pearl paper upgrade.  I won’t print anywhere else.

Mpix or adoramax. Sure, you can get pictures printed at walmart or walgreens or whatever, but the quality just doesn’t compare. You spend so much money on your photographers, spend a little more for quality prints. (here’s a photog’s perspective on the matter).

I prefer Mpix to adoramax, but that’s just because they’re “local” to where I live.
