i just had my hair trial (second one) and really liked it. But i’m not sure where to put my veil. it’s a single tier. i don’t have a pic from my trial but my hair looks a lot like this:
when my hairstylist put the veil in, my mom said it look liked it was just “plopped on the back of my head.” she thinks i need some kind of embellishment, but im already wearing a clip above my ear (like in the photo).

I didn’t have a clip, but I wore my hair down. My stylist teased a little in the back and placed the veil there. I didn’t want it too low or too high, it’s a little harder to place when your hair is down. I would try a few different placements to really figure out what you like. Here’s a photo of mine, it was a 1 tier a little past elbow length veil.

I’m wearing my hair down (maybe half up). I am not a fan of the “veil tail” anyway (at least on me), so I’ll be wearing my single tier cathedral veil fairly high on my head (maybe 4 inches from my hairline). I love the elegance and classic look of it.

Yours looks beautiful! I like how Jen Aniston is wearing it here. Not so far forward that it’s on the very top of her head, but not in the back like that “veil tail” look.

I just trusted my hairdresser. I told her I didn’t want it to high and she put it in for me.

Ugh I didn’t even think about veil placement before my wedding because I thought that the hairdresser would have known or there was always an exact spot everyone placed it at depending on how you did your hair, but after looking at pictures of my wedding, I thought my veil was placed too low. The hotel didn’t have any side mirrors in the bathroom, so I couldn’t tell, and no one told me it was too low. After I get my professional photos back, I’ll probably have to do some photoshopping on any photos showing the back of my head. So annoying…
