You may not find someone who does it normally but maybe a nearby farm?

Uhm this is possibly the weirdest request for help I’ve ever seen on WB, LOL!!!! What about a local petting zoo? Or is there a local farm that works with schools, maybe they’d be willing to come out for an hour with a piglet?

I agree with SoontobeMrsA, you probably are not going to find a place that does this all the time… just not a common thing.

wow arent you worried about the piglet getting your dress dirty? Plus alot of the pigs on farms are bit wild and wont stay in your arms

Maybe find a photo with a nice kitten or puppy and show that to your Fiance instead 😉

I don’t have any helpful suggestions, but I smiled because of a request my Fiance made this week. I have an Uncle who is a retired pig farmer and when I told my Fiance that he might be able to make it to the wedding my Fiance asked if my Uncle could bring a piglet, because “piglets are very cute and it would be fun to take a piggy for a walk.” Yes, this is a grown man… that I love!

@kayakblondie: LOL that’s adorable. Who would’ve known there are so many grown men that love piglets so much?!

This is such a cool idea and your Fiance is adorable! You MUST put up your pictures if you do happen to find one. Sorry I can’t help with any info though. I’ll look around later if I can!

My mom would have LOVED that!  We had little piglets for years! 😀  There are loads of farms in VT.  I would check with them. Maybe even check on local craigslist! lol.

@bakerella: I know! I think that one will provide me with smiles for quite some time.

I remember holding piglets on the farm when I was young, and they are cute, but these ones were very jumpy and not all that cuddly. Maybe if they were raised in a petting zoo environment they would be more used to being held? Plus the farm stunck!

@HardyPooleParty:Yes, if you can do it, post pictures! It could even make for a neat after the wedding “trash the dress” sort of session.

Look for ads in the paper for pot bellied pigs for sale. I bet they would be happy to rent you one for a couple hours.
