@thegirlwho109: Hey there! I’m not anywhere near Cali, but I’d suggest just Googling a few local locations and suit stores or tux stores and see what comes up. We found a local place that has about 4 locations in the midwest, and they have a package where the guys buy the suit, shirt, tie, and pocket square for $129. To keep!

If you search around, you may be able to find deals like that. For $130 to rent a tux vs $150 to buy a suit and have it altered, our guys voted to buy the suits to keep.

You already mentioned Men’s Wearhouse which is what we went with. I might also suggest Joseph A. Bank, we looked there, too. You can also sometimes find locally owned shops that do most of their business in the prom world, but would be just fine for weddings, too.

I was going to suggest Joseph A. Bank, but someone beat me to it.  We ended up going with Men’s Wearhouse, out of pure convenience.

We went to American Commodore, but I’m not sure if that’s just a NE Ohio thing.

Jim’s formalwear has the same suits usually for less expensive then Men’s warehouse, even after their special “sign up for our club and get $30 off deal”. Plus they have a great build your tux thingy where you can play around with different options and build his tux.
