I know that since my wedding isn’t til next March, I have some time. But since I also like knocking things out early (and I’m still excited about planning and just wanna do everything), I’ve been looking around for bridesmaid dresses. I’m pretty set on having them wear floor-length, floral-print dresses, and I’m just not finding anything I like that is an official “bridesmaid” dress. My general plan at the moment is to look around in just normal stores for dresses so that I can find something I actually like and avoid making people pay the inevitable upcharge for a “bridesmaid” dress. Do any of you know of any reason why this might be a mistake? I just don’t know of any reason to limit myself to those styles or prices, and I can’t think of any real downside, but I figure it’s worth it to check with the experts!

Check out Asos, they have options you might like; these are just several of them:

We wore these chi chi londen dresses at my friends wedding in October and I loved it so much!!!!
Chi chi londen has some dresses on asos and also their own website.
Caution about this dress though, 3 out 3 bridesmaids starps broke while dancing it up during the recepetion! We brought a bunch of safety pins, aware that this may happen, but the pins kept popping off too. I actually ended up having my Fiance rip the other strap and I tied it as a halter (this was later in the evening and my inhibitions were… well… :p)

My bridesmaids each chose their own dresses, they went to Amazon, BHLDN, David’s Bridal, and Nordstrom Rack 😊
