I would suggest the Jewel in Dunns River falls.  It was a sandals resort before but they choose not to extend their lease and it is now under new ownership.  It offers the same amenities but much better prices!  Great choice on going to Jamaica I just love it there, you will have a great time.

We’re going to The Caves in Negril. http://www.islandoutpost.com/the_caves/

We are so excited!! It has amazing reviews on tripadvisor.com. It’s all inclusive, but small so from what people say you get amazing service. You can even tell them what kind of foods you want for dinner and have a candlelight dinner in a cave. Good luck with your search! You will love wherever you choose I’m sure!

I was looking at sandals thinking how awesome it was, but then I started looking at couples….you really get more for your money at couples–seem super nice 🙂 i think we will be going to jamaica couples resort…which one is best though?!

I stayed at sandal royal caribbean last year and me and Fiance loved it there. The romantic dinner on the beach is a must!!! Massages are great as well!

We stayed at Secrets Wild Orchid in Montego Bay! Very reasonably priced, great food and drinks, wonderful staff, gorgeous property! We had an amazing honeymoon.

We are also staying at Secrets Wild Orchid Montego Bay and I am really happy we chose not to go with Sandals. Every travel agent we talked to only wanted to push us into Sandals. You could tell Sandals spends a lot of money on their “relationships” with travel agents. We even went to a sponsored Sandals night and we just had no interest in it but we couldn’t get any feedback on anything other than Sandals. Finally an agent at AAA laid out all of our options for all inclusives, including a ton of options we didn’t know existed. When we were exploring Secrets we thought we were in way over our head pricewise because Sandals was right at our budget and Secrets had so much more to offer so we figured it had to be more expensive but it ended up being $1,000 cheaper.

If I were going to Jamaica, I would definitely stay at one of the Couples resorts.

Negril has two Couples resorts- one on Bloody Bay and one on Long Bay.  Negril is absolutely breathtaking and has the best beach in Jamaica.  I would stay in Negril for the beach.  There are also two Couples resorts in Ocho Rios.  My friend went to one of them (Sans Souci I think) and said it was very romantic, but the beach wasn’t all the great.
