I got a plain photo box from Michael’s (on sale for like $3),  cut a slot on the top, and had a friend paint it to look like the wedding invitation.  It was a small wedding, so I didn’t feel the need to glue the top on, but it’s certainly easy to do if you want something a little more secure.  It’s so pretty, I still have the box with all the cards inside still on display in my home.

Etsy.com has a LOT of great card boxes.  They were just a little out of my price range.  $3 couldn’t be beat!

@erialcrobo:  Does you wedding have a theme…..card boxes can be made out of several things!

Birdcages, chests, regular decorated boxes, there really are sooooo many options!

Birdcage

chest

possibly a real mailbox
