What about walking around in Unionville? It’s such a pretty town! Have you looked up any local parks? Here’s a couple in Richmond Hill I came across quickly:

Observatory Hill

Mill Pond Park

Pioneer Park

Grist Mill Park (can’t find a website for it, but it’s listed on a few photographer’s websites as a pretty place for photos)

Tannery Mall

Richmond Green Park

Unionville is really cute, that’s a good idea. I had friends who did theirs there.

Go for a drive and go and find some nice farmers fields and a old barn and go knock on the door and ask.  That’s what my friends did who got married up in Richmond Hill.  They found an abandoned farm house and a old barn and got some great pictures.  They asked a neighbour for permission since they thought they would see them around the building.

Markham Museum!!! I’ve had two friends take their wedding photos there, and one of them also took their engagement photos there. The place is amazing, its a heritage museum so it has alot of historic buildings with amazing architecture. They have everything from chapels, to school houses, to barns, houses and train station. Deffinately worth checking out, they have so much to choose from that you could take several picture shoots there and not know its in the same location. The price to take pics is cheaper then most too, i believe its around $100 for the day.
