We went for a week to Turks and Caicos we stayed at the Wingsong Resort…it was amazing! Breakfast is included, and food was decently priced (we aren’t big drinkers anyways).

The beach is one of the best i’ve ever seen in my life.

You could get away with going there for 5 days, and using extra money for renting a vespa (we did, and it was amazing, you can ride around the WHOLE island in one day) We went to secluded beaches, which were literally like a postcard.

I recommend 10000%

@mco06:  we will be going to Grand Sunset Princess in riviera maya. It is lovely!!! The normal room with everything included is $2480 for two people. We upgraded for the swim up suite and are paying an extra $100 per person. If you go through apple vacations the transportation from the airport to hotel is included both ways, plus the flight is only 3 and a half hours non stop. These are prices for June so I’m not sure what you will be looking at. Check it out!!

@mco06:  i went to a friend’s wedding at an all adult, all inclusive resort in Negril, Jamiaca a few years ago called Couples Swept Away…it was amazing. So romantic, beautiful, amazing food, lots of things included (all food and drink of course)…it was just amazing…and for a couple we paid $2400 including airfare from Charlotte, NC to Jamaica.

@mco06:  Darling Husband and I leave next Thursday for a week at this resort (this is the TripAdvisor page): Sanctuary Cap Cana. It looks amazing, but it was fairly pricey ($3400 CDN for two people all inclusive, flight for a week).

Last year we went to Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya, and it was totally amazing, highly recommended. We only paid about $1800 total for both of us for this one.

Hi @mco06:  Mr TTR & I travel a lot.

Of your list I’d pick Mexico… it has fewer issues than the other two destinations.  I won’t be going back to either Jamaica or the DR any time soon (especially NOT to the DR)

I’d pick Mexico 1st because the resort Destinations are relatively safe, and it is a 2nd World Country…

The Dominican Republic comes in 3rd because it has a LOT OF ISSUES… and it is a 3rd World Country.

You can read my recent post on the DR in a topic entitled “What’s In The Water ?” = http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/whats-in-the-water#axzz2lnWz4Qbi

Hope this helps,
