sunworshipbride :  Yosemite is incredible, and wine country/Napa is so fun too! We did that for my SIL’s bach and did a winery tour, it was great.

I’ve never been to Montauk or Charleston, but they are on my to-go list 🙂

Harry Potter World in Orlando. They spray the sh*t out of the parks for mosquitos; my 5mo pregnant sister pland the trip, and went without hesitation, fwiw.

When are you planning your trip for? In season, Montauk is a nightmare. Out of season, it’s totally dead and cold (which could be nice if you want something chill, but unlikely you’ll be able to go out to a bar). NYC is fun anytime (I live here), but it’s $$$. And weather can be horrific.

I *love* the rockies – yellowstone, grand teton, glacier – all AMAZING. That said, season also matters here as well – you could easily get snowed in.

What time of year? Because Montauk is great in summer, but Miami is awful and vice Versa in regards to winter

sunworshipbride :  So, I live in Oregon and would say if you’re considering Portland, you should skip it and stay in Bend instead. If you really are a Sunworshipper, Bend has 263 days of sun on average. Portland can be a drag, weather-wise.

Bend is smaller, but has an amazing array of beautiful things to see and do. Hiking, biking, skiing, waterfalls, craft brewing, a new observatory, golf… I could go on. There are caves to explore, an obsidian flow, hot springs and the downtown has shopping and fine dining. There are a few beautiful resorts.

Plus, Smith Rock

Portland is fine, but Bend just has more to offer, IMO

SO I guess a night of clubbing in downtown Toronto is a no-go?

For the love of God, what is with the destination bachelorettes? All that money spent travelling could be spent on having the best party ever in TO. Not meaning to be rude, just an idea.

cameobride :  I agree! I’ve been to Niagara Falls three to four times in my life and can go again.

The New York side is much more fun for actually experiencing the falls. You can walk on the rocks below and basically get soaked if you want.

The Canada side is much more fun for arcade-like activities and other family entertainment and dining.

If you want to go to both, make sure you bring your passport!

Have you considered Nashville? It seems like the new bachelorette capital of the country! Lots of fun things to do.
