At two years he asked me to move to the Quad Cities to live with him. I was living in Omaha at the time, and it took me a few months to sort things out, to rent out my house, tie up the loose ends at my job, train my replacement, sell a lot of my stuff and pack the rest, and move. Best thing I ever did. So here we are a year later, very happy and looking forward to happilly ever after.

Wow, my story is MUCH like yours, except we did not move across the country. That’s all thats different. We fell in love, met each others families and spent holidays together with them, got jobs, lost jobs, lost family members, got engaged, and are moving in together in about a month or two.

We’re two years into it now, and I am pregnant and we are engaged. Not bad, I guess.

We were both 19 and just starting our University Diplomas, still working our regular part time retail jobs 😉 Still lived at home with our parents lol.

At two years I was 17 & he was 19. We was already engaged (YES) but we had a long engagement (got married at 4 years & was already living together almost a year.)
But at two years we both still lived with our parents. My husband worked & I was doing school online. (Home schooled.) Our weekends consisted of going to the movies, dinner dates, road trips, enjoying life with no bills & just having fun together. We was completely in love & still are for that matter! Loved each others parents & was just being patient & enjoying each other until we was old enough to get married & have the money to start a life together on our own.
We just celebrated 5 years this past December. 🙂

At two years we moved in together and started our second year of post-secondary (: We learned so much about each other and new ways to communicate. It felt like we knew each other so well. Although, looking back it was really new to us haha.

It won’t be two years for us until June and I hope our relationship remains as good and strong as it has been for the past year and a half.

2 years in I’d been a waiting bee for a few months, but he proposed about 3 months later so he didnt keep me waiting *too* long.

@Miss Circe: Our two year anniversary is in June too! The 4th!
Well, if the past year and a half are any indication we’ll be happily living together with our two cats and wrapping up plans for our October wedding!

2 years in we had built strong relationships with each others families and friends, both switched jobs, moved into an apartment and then purchased a house together. Renovated that house! And thats all i can think of. It was our 3rd year together (which just recently passed) where we got a puppy, started to settle down and become a unit, and started talking about marriage seriously. I anticipate being engaged within 6 months.

On our 2 year dating anniversary we will be married for a little less than 2 months! We were friends for 3 years before dating, so I feel like I’ve known him forever.

Two years into our relationship, we had been married for about eight months. We both knew on the second date that this might be “it,” and he formally proposed at the five-month mark. Our wedding was just a little less than a year later.
