I feel weak and tired. All the time. This has been going on since last fall, and at first I thought it was just winter blues, but now it’s well into spring, and I sleep 9-10 hours a night, and feel sluggish all day. It’s really kind of depressing, because I want to get housework and gardening done, and go grocery shopping, and run errands, but I constantly feel like curling up in bed and taking a nap. My fiance says I sleep more than my cat.
I have two jobs, so when I’m not working, I’m sleeping.
Is anyone else going through this?

hey girl i wish i had advice for you but i really don’t. i also struggle with fatigue and not sure why. even though my bloodwork doesn’t show me as having hypothyroidism, the doctor put me on thyroid meds anyway to try to boost the energy level and it just doesn’t do much! i can sleep 8 to 9 hours a night and still be exhausted the entire next day. this happens most days out of the week.
have you seen a doctor at all about this?

Talk to your doctor. You might have a vitamin deficiency.

I guess I’ll make a doctor’s appointment.
I take multivitamins every day (although I might need more, because I take the flinstone’s kids ones… grown-up vitamins make me (physically) sick.
Thanks, ladies. 🙂

You need to talk with your doctor and get blood work done. Multivitamins don’t always give you everything you need. I am prone to becoming anemic (not enough iron) and I end up having similar symptoms to you.
A neat way of finding out if you are anemic: Take a gold ring (it has to be real good) and rub it in a line on your cheek, without makeup on. If it leaves a black or green mark, you are likely anemic. Still, this is not 100% and you will need the doctor/blood work to confirm it.
