After reading the post about where do you put your rings, this question came to mind.
WHERE IS YOUR CELL PHONE RIGHT NOW?
I am obsessive about having my phone within reach at all times……not because I think I’m special or get lots of calls. My reason is because I need to be available for family emergencies, and there have been quite a few, some major and others not. My most frequent is my adult son being thrown from his horse and is at ER with a concussion; at least three of those.
So am I the only one who is attached to their phone??

@Pamelor55: I read your poll question to my Darling Husband, and he just looked at me, since my phone is ALMOST ALWAYS within arm’s reach, unless it’s on the charger in another room. It obviously is in my purse a lot of the time, too, but, then, my PURSE is almost always within arm’s reach when the phone is in there. Haha!

next to me; always. my husband travels alot for work in which he is on call. so when he leaves its usually my job to keep him awake until he gets to where he needs to be when it comes to working crazy hours. also my SIL is pregnant, she had problems last pregnany, in which she lost so now that shes 30 weeks its always scary when her name pops up on my phone.

If my husband is out of town on business, always within arm’s reach, but if he and my daughter are home, somewhere in the house! lol

I just set it down. It is about 4 inches away, connected to the computer charging. I’m a bit attached. I just got back from my honeymoon where I couldn’t use any data, send texts, or make or receive calls and I was so happy to have my phone back.
It was kind of nice to have less going on for the week though!

It’s on the kitchen table, but it’s always nearby.

I’m the same as you, OP! I feel a need to have it close to me in case someone I love has an emergency. Also, we don’t have a house phone so I rely on it even more.

It happens to be in arms reach right now, but its normally in my purse or in the kitchen. Most the time on the weekend is stays upstairs in the bedroom cause I forget to bring it down and dont bother to go up and get it.
