- Wedding: August 2010
So due to the small intimate venue we have chosen for our day, the number of guests we are able to accomodate is very limited. We have remedied this a bit where we are able to add extras to the list for the dance/party part. I made handkerchief invitations for the ceremony/restaurant people and then for fun I made a separate (paper) suite for the reception guests. I was soo happy with them, and thought I’d like to take pictures after having already sealing them all up. Heres the sad part.
I thought, no biggie I’ll open one up take pictures and then put it in a new envelope. The wax seal I was using? Bled right through the paper onto the very front of the invitation– dead centre! Im chosing to take a deep breath, closing my eyes and ignoring the fact that this happened or that all of the invitations may also have the same problem. My fingers are crossed that the wax just got too hot towards the end and that it should be okay. But Whhhhha!! My type A personality is not really accomodating this decision but it took me 3 days to do these 13 invitations and I just cannot redo them– they need to be delivered– only a month away!! Oh well, I guess we all have to pick our wedding battles.
