Is is pork loin or tenderloin?  I’d probably skip loin, but love tenderloin.

I’d probably do either the mac and cheese or pasta salad so as not to have 2 pastas out of the 3 sides.

I dont eat pork so that cuts my meat option down to one – bbq chicken. The pasta salad sounds kinda gross…oil dressing or pesto? O.o I’ll take mac n cheese, grilled veggies & greek salad.

ana2017:  Although I’m sure I would be a happy guest at your wedding reception, I’m wondering why there is no baked beans or potato salad or relish tray or fruit salad. I just don’t think those sides really fit a BBQ? Have you looked into other caterers?

ana2017:  I totally respect the originality intent but theres a reason these items are done at like every bbq. They’re awesome sides with bbq meats! lol Honestly I chose sides based on what was available, nothing really appetizing stood out to me. But Im sure no one will starve. πŸ™‚

Have you consider another meat option for those who don’t like pork ??? I tend to avoid pork on my fork if possible. I like Mac n cheese, baked potato, grilled vegetables and the Cesar salad. Greek salad doesn’t say BBQ to me.

Is the pulled pork for sandwishes?  They are super messy and drippy (and delish) but wearing nice clothes I would pick somehting easier to eat.

For the sides I would skip the mac and cheese. I think sides that don’t need to be kept hot would taste better.

All sounds yummy. i am having pulled pork sliders and fried catfish, sides of green beans, fried okra, tomato and cucumber salad, hush puppies, fruit platters and smoked sausage and cheese platters. i am hoping this covers everyone from vegetarian to those who dont eat pork.
