sboom : yeah Elizabeth wouldn’t be my first choice but it is my late mother in law’s middle name (she died when My husband was in high school) and he wants to honor her, so I’m gonna give him this one! I like Rosie for a nickname most!
lovelyruby : I think we will do Rosie for a nickname, which I love!

All of these names could end up with nicknames from family or friends.
Noelle: Elle, Ellie, Nellie
Eloise: Elle, Ellie (my childhood friend group called a girl named Eloise “Weezy” before rappers did it. and she was Lo-Lo when we were really little)
Rosalie: Rose, Rosa, or Rosie
Important considerations, though I’m partial to Rosalie regardless.

Noelle is my favorite but I really like them all.

Rosalie because Ginny and Rosie sound really cute together.

I love Rosalie! So so pretty – I love Rosie too, but to be honest Rosalie doesn’t even need nicknamed. – wouldn’t do it justice

Rosalie. I like Eloise as well with the nickname Ellie

Rosalie, because I think REV is fun, and it’s a pretty name. Eloise is nice but I don’t love the EE combo. Noelle is nice, but I think of the Christmas song, and she might get teased for that as a kid.

Rosalie and Eloise are beautiful options and go really nicely with Virginia! I’m not sure which to vote for. I would maybe lean towards Eloise, because Ros- names are having a bit of a moment (but then so are El- so maybe there’s no difference there), but don’t love the El- El- of Eloise Elizabeth. Is your mother-in-law’s first name completely out of the question?

MollyCatherine : her first name was Heidi and my brother in law already used it for his baby girl.
Thanks everyone for the feedback! Rosalie is my favorite and I just “feel” like it’s her name. Dh originally wasn’t on board with it but I talked to him again this morning and it’s growing on him. Fingers crossed!
