mrsh52116 : I like Sloane. I actually asked Darling Husband what he thought of the name but he took it out of contention pretty quickly.
Amelia is pretty popular these days. I know of a couple and have seen it in all the top baby names of 2016 and 2017 lists.
I think Charlie is adorable for a girl. Some people won’t like that it sounds like it should be a nickname for a more girlie name. But other people are loving the whole gender neutral name trend and Charlie is popular amoung those.

None to be quite honest. But of the three I picked Amelia. Sounds classic 🙂

I chose Sloane, I’m not pregnant but my SO and I both like this one. Amelia is my niece’s name and while it is cute its also massively popular, which makes me very much dislike it. I also just find it a little dull personally, the same way I find Emily or Jane to be boring.

I like Sloane! Amelia is beautiful but not as unique and unusual so my vote’s for Sloane 😊

I’m more traditional than you are, since Amelia is the only name I like as-is from your list.
I like Charlie as a unisex nickname just fine, but I would recommend naming your child a more formal name (Charlotte, Charlene, Charlize, etc.) because Charlie by itself seems too nickname-y to me.
Sloane is just not my style, but if that’s what you decide you like best, then go for it!

I voted for Sloane as I haven’t heard of any kids called this that I know.
I used to really love the name Charlie but (and I seriously apologize if anyone has a daughter named Charlie and I’m offending you) Darling Husband used to always call it a “stripper name” and now I can’t get the association out of my head when I hear it.

Love Amelia. Strong and classic. Sloane sounds like a rich girl from an 80s teen comedy (Bueller?)
