Fiance and I went wedding band hunting today and I fell in love with an odd pairing. I love round diamond band with my ring I think its pretty and different. I like the princess band but I think it might be too much of the same thing…and maybe even bulky/gaudy. What do you ladies think? Round or Princess band?

I prefer the round — it gives a nice bit of contrast ot the e-ring. But I may be biased because I tend not to like rings that just look like a massive block of diamonds.

I’m biased because as much as engagement rings are beautiful etc. I place more value on the Wedding band as the real symbol of the marriage committment. So I’d want my band to stand out. The round diamonds stand on their own. The princess cut band blends in well with your e-ring, and it also gets lost among it.
Would you maybe consider a simpler band in that a lot of blingage is hot….but then it can look a bit gaudy. I mean if that works for you then go for the the round stone band. But a simpler band would contrast and stand on it’s own with your already outstanding e-ring and sort of balance each other out.

I have a princess as well, and I’m getting 3 mismatched bands (2 below and 1 above). I think the round stones stand out very nicely against your e-ring

I like the round one. It just has a more classice look about it.

FutureMrsJefferson: I think the princess band looks more uniform and like a set, therefore I would choose that one.

I prefer the bottom one. It looks beautiful with it. The rounds just look odd with it to me.

FutureMrsJefferson: They are both beautiful. (And your ERing is STUNNING, by the way!!) I like the round one just a little bit better. I think it stands out nicely with your ERing and looks great together.

I like the princess because it blends right in/matches, also no gap between.
