Why would it look silly? My ER is a little over 3/4, yea the band is thicker but I love my curved band! FYI Bad pix, I need to update this…

Curved bands are usually worn with e-rings with a thinner band than the diameter of the stone.  Do you have a picture of your ring?

@Ms. Figales: LOL, ok, or it could be purely out of taste and not guidelines. 🙂

I say go for it! I love the band you posted. They’ll still “go” because both bands are delicate IMO.

@iheartnerds: pretty ring! i thought i wanted a princess cut just like yours and ended up with a brilliant round! can i ask where you found the band? i also have a knife edge band and am looking for something similar. I dont know if i like the curved edge with the princess cut or not? i guess i am considering the curved because mine is a brilliant cut round. maybe just straight across with the same delicate pattern? i found this ring online to go with mine-well eventually because of the price! maybe the second one to go with yours? i googled white gold knife edge wedding band and looked at pics- maybe you would find one this way?

The curved band is pretty, but if a straight one would sit flat against the band on your e-ring, I would still vote for a straight band! But you’re the one wearing it, so if you love the curved one more, you should go for it. Or just keep looking for sparklier straight bands!

I think it would look fine if you like it. It’s a pretty band!

@MissGreen: haha, of course.  i was just repeating what jewlers told me.  i didn’t like how the curved bands looked with my e-ring because the band is level with the stone.  straight and curved looked funny to me personally.

@iheartnerds: it’s really about what you like becuase it will be on your finger for years to come.  i think it would look fine and but recommend that you definitely try on similar bands in person before you order the one online.  rings can look different from the picture once you try them on with your ering.
