M&T is currently on my crap-list…I just closed my account there recently. I was saving some money and had it in my checking account…and they started deducting it $10 per month after I hadn’t moved it for 6 months. I was like, ok, then give me all of it back and I’ll take it somewhere else…

I’ve had Bank of America since forever and never had a problem, but I definitely understand why some people (many people) hate them. When we officially merge accounts, Fiance and I will probably go with a local credit union, but for now I’m happy with what I have. I definitely don’t have to pay to have my money there; I don’t understand why some places charge you to have a checking account–that’s crazycakes! Free everything and they treated me nicely the two times there were security problems with my account, so I’m pretty happy.

We use PNC and really like what they have to offer, I don’t know if its the ‘best’ but it fits our needs.

We have Citizens Bank which we recently switched to last year. I hate hate hate them. They have been awful and I can’t wait to switch. Oh, and I think they are just in the MA area.

I haven’t had many problems @ BOA, but thier monthly service fees have gone up & they didn’t even notify me. My brother banks with a FL credit union, where he also has his car loan at a great interest rate- I think that’s the way to go if it’s an option.

We use 5/3 bank even though there isn’t one in our area anymore (we’re from MI, moved to VA). I’m fairly happy with 53. We also have a navy federal account so we can deposit checks in this area and have had no problems.
I’ve heard USAA is great, but we tried to take a mortgage out with them and it was an awful experience. I won’t use USAA for anything anymore.

J and I both have BoA. We’ve never really had a problem. I don’t get charged with a monthly fee because I do direct deposit and I use my debit. Something like that. I hear bad things about TD and Wells Fargo, but I think there’s issues with any bank you go to.

MY Fiance and I use BOA. I’ve had no problem with BOA, but Fiance is not a fan, but deals with it.
I actually LOVE ING for savings, because they have one of the highest interest rates around.
I plan on opening a few bank accounts once were married. Not sure exactly where yet.

Fiance and I both HATE BOA. Yes, it’s that strong.
I’m happy with Wells Fargo, by far and large, but when we merge accounts, we’ll be going with a local bank, as Fiance works there.

HSBC all the way.
Been with them for almost 11 years and have our mortgage with them. They have been nothing but fantastic!

– another thing i loooove about USAA – we deposited all our wedding checks from the comfort of our couch using our USAA app.

We started using PerkStreet (www.perkstreet.com) last month and we already got close to $20 rewards! I love how spending $$ earns you $$ 😉
