My cake will be a 2 tier… I was originally all set on cake #1- photo is actually from our bakery, so I feel confident it will be close. The other two I found googling- I love the design on cake #2, but I love the cutesy playfulness of #3. I want something SOMEwhat elegant but still fun and laid back- what do you think? Should I have stopped looking after my original choice? Open to any suggestions & would love to see other’s beach/tropical themed cakes Thanks!

I like 1 or 3.
2 is so common for a beach cake.

i like #1, but that’s because i prefer simpler looking cakes. you could have them do the dots between tiers in a color so that it looks more like #3.

I like #2. It’s beachy but elegant!

Ooh number 1 for sure! I love that cake! Doesn’t hurt that I’m a beach addict, and aside from the beach decor on it, it’s pretty much my wedding cake lol. But I love it! Simple but elegant.

I love number 2. Seems like a great compromise between elegant and playful.

I love the sandy base of #1 but the cake of #2 🙂

#2 is definitely my favourite.

I love the first one! And it seems like it’s exactly what you want, elegant and laid back.

#1 is by far my favorite!! It seems classy and understated beachy without being so OMG I’M BEACH CAKE. But I like understated so I’m biased maybe 🙂

I like number 1, both for the design and the confidence that you’ll get a cake that looks like that, since it’s something your bakery has done before!

1 or 2. In my opinion, 3 looks a bit too plasticy. It’s not as classy looking as the other two 🙂

i like the first one, but i like simple cakes in general, and in this case i prefer the fresh flowers to the fondant/sugar/whatever-they-are decorations

I absolutley love your first cake, not only do you know your bakery can do it, the orchids are so bright and pretty.
