@jscott2007:  I ordered a berricle ring that’s similar to the “real” ring we are going to order to make sure I liked the style. I think even in the bigger one it’ll be believable! Mine seems sturdy. I wore it around for a couple of weeks and actually got a lot of compliments on it. The only thing is that the stone got suuuper dirty super quick, as CZs will! Mine is an emerald cut though, so I’m sure the steps make that easier to see.

A .86 would definitely be believable if you’re trying to “pass it off as a diamond,” I honestly feel that any budget could afford a stone that size assuming people had time to save a bit, that would be ~$4,000ish (of course it would depend where you got it) if not less, I don’t know why anyone would even question it to be honest, it’s not “huge” by any means.  I’d say get the .86, if you get the smaller one you might experience shrinkage and wish you got the larger one!

@jscott2007:  I have the bottom set as a stand in when we go on vacation and it’s beautiful. I get many compliments on it! It doesn’t look “too small” at all.
