So I switched my bridal gown and am now unsure if my Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses still match. Im undecided between a custom gown Ive posted previously and a beautiful vera wang from davidsbridal. 2 problems though neither dress my girls can try on, since the one is a custom and the only davids bridal is on the other side of canada or at least a 3 day drive to the states. 2 of my bridesmaids are tall and thin and the other one is short like me 😀
So heres my dress I know the quality isnt great and i look like im about to bust out the funky chicken but it was the only one we got lol if you want the website here it is, its a bit more elegant a little less chicken takes flight
And now for the Bridesmaids dress the first is a 1950 custom made vintage and I will be getting them made in eggplant
And the other the Vera Wang I will be getting rid of the black tie and going with a large swarofsky crystal belt. I will be gtting this in purple

The vintage style dress is much cuter.

I would get the vintage dresses! So much more unique 🙂 Plus I saw a post of someone trying all the VW bridesmaids collection on and this dress is just not flattering on real people who aren’t 16 and the size of a no. 2 pencil lol

First of all, you look fabulous in your dress!
I LOVED the Vera dress on the mannequin when I was trying on wedding dresses at David’s, and actually had my Maid/Matron of Honor try it on, just for fun. I could hear her laughing from the fitting room, and when she came out, I could see why. The whole thing was just too much–very wide, and it flopped around awkwardly when she walked. Such a disappointment.
One of my other BMs is very tall and thin–she loves the dress, but hasn’t tried it on yet. I haven’t lost hope that it will appear in my wedding (my Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses will all be different styles in different neutral shades). My advice is to definitely have your girls try it out before buying!
The custom, vintage dress is also fabulous (and what’s not to love about something custom AND vintage?!). I think the silhouette mimics yours really well, actually–it follows your same general style, but on a more subdued scale, which I think is just right for a bridesmaid dress.
