I have the Hygeia, and I really like it. Just be aware that you do have to replace the tubing and filter every few months depending on how often u use it, so that can add up. I have contacted there customer service by email and got a quick response, but haven’t had any contact with them other than that.

I was lucky to be able to use both the ameda and Medela since I had to switch over to my dh insurance when I was no longer under my jobs insurance. I first got the ameda because of the closed system and it worked ok but I felt like it didn’t get as much milk out. after switching to my Dh insurance I was able to get a Medela Pisa and got 1-2 oz more per breastbwithin half the time it took with the ameda! so far I’ve had no issue with mold. when I finish pumping I leave the pump on with the tubes still connected to the pump so that the condensation inside the tube dries up before I put it away. By the time I refrigerate the milk, wash out the other parts it’s dry in the tubes. I also like that the Medela already has a let down button so i don’t have to mess with the 2 settings in order to get a slower stronger suction like with the ameda.
maybe I just wasn’t using the ameda settings right but I prefer the Medela.
