Hey all! I can’t tell which dress I like the most!
This is DB’s dress in Clover, which is our “color.” This dress is $139.

This is the Alfred Angelo pick. It isn’t much more, $159 ($20 off since I bought my dress from AA), but the locations are fewer. I like the shimmer top.

Edit, can someone please move it to Bridesmaids? I hit submit on accident!

Well I’m a sucker for anything glittery or shiny or shimmery, so I vote the second one! Very pretty green color too 🙂

I actually like the simplicity of the first dress more. The shimmery top on the second dress is distracting to me for some reason.

I like the first dress better. The shimmer of the second is pretty but it looks young and trendy to me. Plus, they’ll likely be able to wear the first dress again for a variety of occasions.

@AlwaysSunny: Ha My bridesmaids are between the ages of 18 and 22, so they’re leaning towards the AA. Thanks!

I love the DB, its softer and flowy with a beautiful sweetheart neckline. And your girls could re-wear this dress. DB all the way.

The first one. The second one seems too teeny bopper.

If the girls like the 2nd one, then go with that one…
But the 1st one is prettier…much more classy and expensive looking. To me, the shimmer makes the other dress look cheap and ‘clubby’.

The first one is really nice, i love the criss cross top and the flowy skirt. I don’t hate the second one, but it kind of reminds me of a short prom dress.

The first one of my favorite. It’s a more classic look.

I tried on and purchased the Davids Bridal one this past weekend actually. It is a very flattering dress on several different body types. A nice dress.

@missmorganista: i like the 1st one too.
the 2nd one is great but with the shiny top, i’d be concerned with the flash of the cameras and the glare it may cause. i do like the bottom of #2 though.

Dress 1 is a little more romantic, and a little more timeless.
Dress 2 is a little more trendy and a little more fun.
Honestly, both would work. If all your bridesmaids are on board for dress 2, go for it. However, I think dress 1 would work for more body types and be a better investment for the girls as it will continue to be flattering as they get older. Plus, dress 1 is cheaper!
