Last weekend my girls and I went bridesmaid dress shopping and let me tell you, it did NOT go as planned. So rather than go into detail on how poorly it went, I’d love some advice or pics on what dresses you girls think would look best to compliment my dress. I wanted to do short dresses (August wedding–hottest month of the year) but they just were not flattering. So I went shopping with my mom and tried on some long dresses and fell in love.
So here’s the skinny… purple dresses (long, short… whatever you think will look best with my dress) and something that will look good on all sizes (10-16ish).
Here are a few ideas I have.
Any help is appreciated! Thank you!!!

Hey, if you’re wearing a long dress and are comfortable, they should be too right? I like the last Bill Levkoff the best.

Hiya, I think the D’Zage is your best bet, as it picks up on some of the detail on your dress, which helps tie everything together as your dress is quite unique. Also, the trick is to get your bridesmaids in dresses that compliment you, without being too matchy-matchy or too plain next to yours. The D’Zage is perfect for that, the other two will unfortunately look too plain and too ordinary next to yours.
Also, strapless dresses dont always suit bigger girls, especially if they have a larger bust. The D’Zage has perfect strap support for all sizes. Just my opinion, based on my wedding planning (I have a teeny tiny bridesmaid right the way through to a very large bridesmaid and we’ve talked about all of these things. It’s tough work, but well worth it in the end. I just approached it from the side of wanting my bridesmaids to feel happy, comfortable and beautiful 🙂
