They are both really nice, but since it is an evening wedding, I would go with the long one πŸ™‚

If you’re going for a more formal feel, I vote for the longer dress.

I’d prefer the shorter, and I think you can still dress it up plenty if you want it to look more formal.  I’d probably wear the 2nd dress again way before I’d wear the first.

Because your wedding is in April, and in the evening, I would definitely go for the longer dress. I also feel like the short one is REALLY short for a wedding.

I like the shorter one better, I think that long dress in the apple red will be very intense.

    Re: Rewearing the dress.

If you go with the long one, the girls can always have it altered shorter, after the wedding, and they can use the extra fabric for a shawl, jacket, and/or clutch.

I think it really depends on the body shape of the maids and their age. A woman who knows herself well can pull off a long gown, sometimes a younger woman cannot. Additionally, if the women are really short, the long gown might make them look “dumpy” instead of elegant. They are both beautiful cuts and the color is going to be fantastic!

I prefer the shorter dress, but I know MANY women who would choose to wear the longer. So, I dont think you could go wrong with either. Some people say that since its an evening wedding, you should go long.

The longer dress is a much better pick of the two. I couldn’t help but think club wear for the second one. Maybe because I don’t see any major details to the second dress?? But it just doesn’t scream wedding.

For an evening wedding, definitely the longer one.

I would wear the 2nd dress as a guest but for the bridesmaids, I would go with the first. I think it’s more formal and better for various shapes.
