    Can you do both? If not, then I’d go with the first one. It has a more casual, garden-feel to it versus the second one.

    I think Chifon is better for a garden wedding and it’s more forgiving than shiny satin.

    I personally prefer chiffon, and I don’t think it’s too summery, but it might help to know what your dress looks like.  If yours is a shiny material, I might go with the second dress.

    Yep, I’m not fond of satin either. There are some cute DB dresses in chiffon, if you’re on a budget.

    I personally look TERRIBLE in a natural waist like the second, so I voted for the first.  I think it will flatter more bodies!

    Wow.  I think the second will flatter bodies much better than empire waist chiffon.  However, satin can be unforgiving as well.  I would consider a natural waist chiffon.
