    2 all the way 🙂 You may have to be careful about sitting down while it is bustled this way by the way – I did! 😉

    I prefer 1, but I also think a ballroom bustle would be beautiful.

    I normally like American bustle, but French suits your dress much better!

    @X0JLYNN03:  The skirt if folded under and tied up to make it look like there ws never a train at all.

    @X0JLYNN03:  French = underbustle; American = overbustle.

    The French bustle is more secure.

    Love #1…it was really similar to mine and it held up really well.

    @mrsSonthebeach:  Yes, I second the ballroom bustle.

    I love the clean look of the dress that doestn even look bustled, and i think it would work perfectly for this dress.

    Here’s what my ballroom bustle looked like: (13 ribbons under the dress at different heights to bring up the bottom the right amount, and loops at the bottom of the dress to tie it under.)

    Sorry this side view is the only picture I have of it bustled on this computer, but basically, it looks just like the front.

    I think this is one of preference. I think number 2 looks so much smoother and classier. It like you cant barely tell its bustled. The other one is obviously bustled.

    I love bustle one (the French/underbustle), but I almost always prefer underbustles to overbustles(American). One thing to keep in mind and one of the reasons I prefer them, underbustles tend to be more secure, I know a lot of people with overbustles that get stepped on and rip out, which doesn’t happen as much with underbustles. However underbustles are usually more difficult to tie up.

    @Neetch:  +1

    OP, Why can’t they do the tuck under thingy-ma-bob at the floor line instead of these two options!  That way it’d look like your train had just disappeared!
