I was going to vote color but I’m very color sensitive so i imagined i would not be satisfied with a dingy look (yet i like a light yellow/ champagne diamond). Though if there were a choice to maybe reduce all the four cs a ring bit (slightly smaller carat, diamond near color less but but completely, etc) I would’ve voted that one 😛

I picked clarity. I wanted nice white stones in a good size, but I wasn’t willing to pay an extra £150 to upgrade from SI to VS. My ring is 0.75tcw, F-G colour. I am no diamond expert but my stones look lovely to me, and that’s all that matters!

Color because I actually prefer a little warmth to a really white stone

I think that I would be willing to compromise on clarity, now that I’ve looked at tons of loose diamonds. I used to think that inclusions were always black spots, or some kind of thing that made a diamond not sparkle, but I traded in my emerald cut (VS1) for a cushion (I1) just the other day, and you can’t see the inclusion unless you really look for it, it’s sort of a feathery mark. It is so sparkly too!

Quality is very, very important to me in a stone.
I dispise large stones, so I’d sacrifice caret in order to have a better looking stone.

My carat weight is under 1 but my diamond looks huge because of the clarity, cut and color (less-ness) I also have a halo setting so you can compromise a bit with that in the mix. Mine sparkles way more than my friend’s who has a one carat diamond with lower quality in the other C’s.
