Our wedding colors are purple and gray and we have designed the stationary and favors to have purple swirls. Which cake do you like the best?
Cake 2 would have dark purple swirls with purple and gray ribbon. I’m not sure if they could do the pillow tuck design becase we are using buttercream not fondant. This one might just have the swirls on each tier.
Cake 3 would be very similar to this, but it would have a topper of some sort. Also, I’d imagine the swirls would be a bit neater.

I like the round shape better so my vote would be 2 or 3….. I voted 2 bc I really like the 2nd layer design!

I like cake 2 but with swirls on all tiers best.

I like the second cake – the quilted look of the second tier can be done on a crusted buttercream icing (I have not attempted it myself but have seen professionals. Only made one buttercream wedding cake so far, the rest have all been fondant). Google images for quilted buttercream will give you lots of hits to show you what it would look like.

@Lollybags: Thank you! The girl at the shop didn’t seem to think they could, but after a little searching, it doesn’t seem that hard. This bakery is pretty well-known locally, so I guess I should actually ask the guy making the cake lol Maybe it is possible after all!
