We are probably going to have three of these flavors, but each layer is a different size, so we are trying to decide which flavor we want the most of/least of. They will all have vanilla buttercream frosting on the outside.

I would probably choose chocolate with raspberry filling but I also like the sound of the raspberry cream filling as well as the red velvet with chocolate fudge filling. So I’d be happy with any of the last three.

I would choose any of them besides the chocolate ones. I don’t really care much for chocolate cake or frosting. But that is just me 🙂

I say the two flavors that I would like would be lemon with white cake or red velvet with chocolate fudge filling. (Though red velvet makes my tummy hurt sometimes because of all the dye)

I chose the last option, at our wedding we have red velvet with vanilla filling, I also love red velvet with cheesecake filling

I love the sound of Almond cake but not really with Lemon filling. Maybe you should do the biggest tier chocolate, the second biggest white and then the top should be red or almond.

Chocolate/raspberry and white/lemon sound great!

1. Red Velvet
2. Chocolate w/ raspberry cream

I personally can’t stand raspberry or lemon flavored things so I chose the last option.

I love all of those options and now I really want cake…

They all sound delicious, one thing you should be mindful of is a lot of people dont like all the dye in red velvet, it can irritate peoples stomachs and it gives my mother migraines. I think white cake with lemon filling sounds awesome, and chocolate cake with raspberry cream sounds great too!

I’d pick either chocolate cake with raspberry jam filling or red velvet cake with cream cheese filling.
That said, I have never heard of anyone having digestive or other body issues with red velvet.

we had 7 different flavors for our cake buffet, and the most popular by far was red velvet, followed by chocolate and white.

It depends on what its dyed with, a lot of places use beet juice which is fine, but red dye 40 is pretty bad stuff, a lot of countries are banning it along with some other dyes. Most people wont physically react to it but people who are sensitive to it will. That said, red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting is one of my all-time favorites.
