I wouldn’t worry or stress about finding a shoe for your appointment…just bring a pair of heels that are about the height you think you’ll want

Don’t worry about your shoes, all the dresses are too long anyways (unless you’re like 6 foot!)  Just bring a comfy pair of heels so you can see how you look with heels on, as wearing heels does change your posture, stance, etc.

You’ll need the real thing for your fittings.

Yea go for an approximate height. The second one should be easy to hem, but the first they might want to do a hollow to hem measurement. In which case ask if you can order it but have it not start production for a week or so to give you a chance to buy shoes.

Oh, but do make sure you wear the appropriate undergarments!!!  That DOES make a huge difference!!  I wore Spanx and def bring a comfy strapless bra. I didn’t like putting on the ones they had at the bridal salons, sort of grossed me out.

I wouldn’t worry about your shoes! I tried on all my dresses barefoot. I only got my shoes a couple weeks before I went for my first fitting ๐Ÿ™‚

@MusicBee76:  Spanx are the best invention ever!! Lol I’ve gotten mine at nordstroms but I believe Chico’s and some white house/ black markets sell them. Or you could always just get them online on amazon or someplace like that. I didn’t wear the full pantyhose, just the ‘power panties ‘ , which are sort of like shorts.

And since we’re talking dresses,  if you find one you like be sure to check if you can sit, raise your arms, and walk in it. Also sinsee you seem to like the mermaid / trumpet style gowns remember thtoying its fitted below your  hips you won’t be lift it up to go to the bathroom. ๐Ÿ™‚

Have fun dress shopping!! I hope you find the one!!! I love all your inspiration pics above!!
