I know different island has different marriage laws like Cayman Islands has fairly easy requirements as opposed to St Martin. Does anyone know which islands are less likely to give you trouble for getting a marriage license, and also which island is more lush and beautiful for a wedding?

Providing prior application has been made for a marriage license, visitors to Jamaica can be married just 24 hours after arriving on the island

We’re getting married in Jamaica. You only need to be on the island for 24 hours. Good luck in your planning! 🙂

Jamaica. Other islands require more residence time and a ~~BLOOD TEST~~ (((scary echo)))

DR has no residency requirements and no blood test requirements. Only catch is you need to get your documents translated into spanish and notarized, which can be costly. You also have to pay a fee if both of you are not residents. I think it’s a little under $300.
