How long is your ceremony? 20-30 minutes? Divide cost by time used & if the resulting figure is worth it to you, then by all means use the white chairs. If not, the wood is a gorgeous option.
Plus I’m not even sure people notice what they’re sitting on. It’s a chair; if it holds you up, its done its job. Plus I’m all for saving a few bucks – you could put the money you saved towards ceremony decor, or whatever else!
Needless to say, I voted for the brown chairs 🙂

I think that the natural wood realllllly fights with the white gazebo. I would definitely notice the contrast if I were a guest. But, the white goes with it, and blends nicely. I’d go with the white! It would bug me big time to look back at pictures and see the brown vs white, but if you are not as OCD as me, ;-), go with the natural

The natural wooden chairs! The white, padded ones are not worth the extra cost. Put that money toward something else. Guests sit in the chairs for such a brief time and I promise you, they do not care. And you can ask them the next day what kind of chair they sat in at your ceremony and they will never be able to remember!!

I like the wood. I think the white would pull your eye towards the chairs, where the natural would blend and pull your eye towards the two of you. I also think the natural just looks better, and that it seems like a huge waste to buy special chairs for the ceremony when the ceremony is going to be fairly short.

the white would look a little nicer when the gazebo is empty, but once people are sitting it won’t really matter. i would spend the extra money somewhere else.

oh I voted white, and then I saw that they were twice the price…. SO I change my vote to wood!

The natural. I think white chairs and white gazebo would be too much.
Plus they are cheaper.

If they’re half the price, I’d definitely go for natural. White would match the gazebo, but natural matches the setting!

Go with the natural wood. Guests won’t be sitting in them long enough to justify the extra expense of the white and you can put the money to use somewhere that you and your guests will actually notice and appreciate (food/beverages, entertainment and/or photography).

@caszos: I second this idea.
Also, I would like to say that I didn’t vote, and here’s why:
From an aesthetic viewpoint I preferred the white as it would match the white of the gazebo.
However, on a budget savy, realistic viewpoint, I liked the natural wood as they were cheaper (more money for your honeymoon) as well as once people are sitting in them, and you are walking down towards your new husband in your beautiful dress, everyone’s eyes will be on YOU, and not the chairs.

What are the colors of your wedding?
Because If your colors are in the “warm” range: red, orange, purple, brown – then I think the wood would actually look better 🙂

If want to keep white, why not go with these chairs? They are the same price as the natural wood (assuming you are using the same rental company as me :)), but they are just your basic white folding chair.
