Hi hive…I’m getting to the point where I think I am running out of things to purchase and prepare for the wedding and I am still over 4 months away! I always hear people say that planning a wedding is super stressful but yet I haven’t gotten to that point, which makes me think that I am missing something (or many things). So…which brings me to my question: If you are using a online checklist, which website are you using that you believe is super comprehensive in planning a wedding? I’d love to hear about it!

The Knot’s, which I like, because they include a bunch of silly stuff I’m not doing, but I check it off anyway and then it says I have like 137 tasks accomplished when in reality it’s probably like 20.

I made my own lists. One for the vendors and one for all of my DIY stuff. I just cross things off as I go. I think that you can use any online list as a guide, but you will need to modify it to what you are planning on doing.

I use The Knot’s. I’m lost on general timelines (though they are much shorter in my hometown than a bigger city.) It doesn’t include silly stuff like a flower girl basket, birdseed, that sort of thing (which are the details I’m hating right now, because they keep popping up.) But it includes things like when the groom should pick out his tux, when to send out invites, etc.
(ETA – I has a color! Woot!)

I made my own list of everything I could think of and used lists online and from magazines to get a guideline

I used the Real Simple checklist – it was the most comprehensive to me and then from that list I made my own list of things I knew I needed to do.

Amazon weddings! It’s has everything, you can change timing according to your liking, reorder, add notes etc. It is seriously awesome. I’m registering with them too since I can add anything from any website. They make everything easy!
