    How are the steak/eggplant cooked?  I feel like chicken parm is popular but kind of used a lot.  Is this a seated or buffet dinner?  Sorry I asked a lot of questions ha ha!

    I’d vote for chicken parm because it’s usually a big hit with people, but I also enjoy chicken francaise because of it’s flavor plus I don’t find it as heavy as chicken parm.

    I’d go with chicken parm then.  It’s delicious and goes well with the other dishes (not that they’re eating them together, but it’s cohesive).

    Chicken parm would probably be my choice and I know if I was selecting for my family that would be the choice I would probably go with for them as well. I think it’s the best choice because it will appeal to more people than the other choices.

    I would go with either francaise or marsala. Parm is popular, but you are already offering a sauce/cheese dish. To me, eggplant and chicken parm are interchangeable, so if I wanted anything lighter than sauce and cheese covered, I’d be forced to choose the steak.

    I agree with @Amaryllis – the eggplant and chicken parm seems kinda interchangeable to me. I vote for chicken francaise! which also happens to be a favourite in my FI’s family.

    I voted for chicken marsala.  I love chicken parm but it’s really heavy in my opinion.  I wouldn’t want to dance after that.  Plus formalwear and tomato sauce spell disaster.  I’ve never had chicken francaise so can’t really comment on that.

    As someone who does not like any tomato products, I vote for chicken marsala.  A dislike of tomatoes is fairly common I feel like.

    By The Way – for those who don’t know – Chicken francaise is made with a lemon sauce basically. Very good.

    It all depends on people’s tastes really.

    • Marsala has wine it.  I know people hate a wine taste.
    • Chicken Parm is a heavier dish.  Breading, cheese, and sauce.  BUT delish.
    • Chicken Francaise has a lemon sauce to it which might throw people off, but it doesn’t overpower the entire dish.

    So, who knows.  Depends on what you think is best for your guests.

    I would have to go with either the Chicken Parm or the Fancaise, they both sounds amazingly good right now. Hmm I should avoid the food threads when hungry

    @Meowkers:

    ditto!

    OP I would go francaise or marsala as the parm seems interchangeable with the eggplant.
