I would say Chicken picata and chicken parmesan are the more well known, more commonly liked options. However I think chicken picata will pair better with your sides.

Chicken Picata goes best with your sides.

alliegeeb :  I am not sure what all of these options are but I wouldn’t go for anything too spicy.

I would do chicken parm because it’s more universal.  DH is a very picky eater and wouldn’t eat fish, and wouldn’t eat most of your chicken options either.

Picatta or Fontina. Has the venue offered you a tasting meal?

My biggest question is what season is your wedding? That may influence your choice.

Chicken parm is the most universally known (I’ll admit I had to look up what a fontina and piccata was) but I think piccata sounds the best with rice. I think parm is usually served with pasta and wouldn’t be as good with rice/potatoes.  I’d probably love the mango or spicy the best but they wouldn’t appeal to a wider audiance.

I would do the piccata, it goes with rice better.  You really need pasta for chicken parm.  Personally I would love mango or spicy citrus but piccata will appeal to a the largest crowd.

I view chicken as the ‘crowd pleaser’ or ‘safe’ option for guests if they’re picky so I’d not go too spicy.  Piccata, fontina or parm would all be lovely options.  Piccata might be the best though as parm can geta little heavy – depends on yoru guests and if you think they’ll be heavy eaters or not.

Chicken Piccata! Yum! It’s a classic and works best with the sides you are serving.
