My dress is Mori Lee 1612. I can’t figure out what clutch goes best with it, though. I’m torn between a lace, beaded, or plain clutch. Would lace or beading be overkill since there’s so much lace on the dress? I’m also not sure if the lace will look weird bc it’ll be a different pattern from the lace on the dress. Pics are below.
I’m too indecisive, so any feedback is appreciated! Thanks bees!

I think the lace would be too much but any of the other options would work, I love the beaded one though.

I think the pattern on the lace and beaded clutches would get lost against the lace of your dress.

- Wedding: May 2013 - Pavilion overlooking golf course scenery, reception at banquet hall
I like the plain ruched one 🙂 It strikes me as very “bridal”
I’m curious though – when will you carry the clutch? At my wedding it would have stayed in the “getting ready” room for the ceremony, and on the table at the reception (which I only sat at for dinner) so I did not have one. It would have been nice to have my lipstick on hand, but didn’t get the logistics of a clutch for a bride so I skipped it.

I am in love with the sparkly one!

I like the beaded for the contrast.

I like the lace one and the plain ruched one.
@aggie2010: I agree. Not sure it matters in the end since you won’t be carrying it around or really using it.

@aggie2010: Yea, I’ve heard, like you said, that it just sits on the table or in the bridal suite and that you’re not really thinking about anything that’s in it, haha. I guess I’m getting it more as a keepsake and a “just in case” kind of thing. Believe me, I won’t be spending much on it.

My clutch stayed with a friend for all but 5 minutes between venues when I needed it for a lipstick refresher (and managed to get lipstick on it, oy!). I think it doesn’t matter what you pick.
That said, I like the lace or the pinky one.

I love the last one. Satin would look great to match the satin sash on the dress.

I think that last ruched one will be gorgeous, but the pink flower one would be cute too. I wouldn’t go with the beaded one (it clashes in style, IMO — blinged out vs. romantic), and the lace could be a possibility, I suppose.
Honesty time here, though: we have precisely one picture of me with my clutch, and that’s because I’m reapplying lipgloss while my husband holds my clutch and contemplates the product design of the lipgloss (wand + bottle). It stayed with my mom or Maid/Matron of Honor for pretty much the whole day, so it’s not even like anyone really saw me with it.
So! I would ultimately go with the one that makes you happiest and that you might have the best chance of re-using. 🙂

They are all so gorgeous. I think I’d pick the satin with ruching to let the pattern on your dress shine. 🙂

I like the satin against the lace! You don’t want to have too much of the same texture! I didn’t even use my clutch, so don’t agonize over it. 🙂

One thing to think about that I wish I had realized before our wedding. The beaded one is likely to get caught on the lace. My beaded clutch kept getting caught in the lace of my dress, and I kept having to say…”wait, I have to unhook my purse.”
