Which color scheme? My original idea was color scheme #2 (below). I’ve always been inspired by this picture:

Then Fiance intervened and insisted that navy blue be one of our colors because his GMs HAVE to wear that color vest. My BMs will be in turquoise and I wasn’t planning on them matching the GMs. But the navy blue throws a curve ball in the color scheme! To me, option #1 screams “jewel tones” and that’s not what I was aiming at. What are your thoughts?
Color Scheme Option #1 (screams jewel tones)

Color Scheme Option #2 (my original idea that my heart is set at)

Color Scheme Option #3 (get rid of the fuchsia)

I like option #1 and #2 but if Fiance really want navy I think it looks good with the colors you chose. You could have it as an accent color and keep it to a minimum.

I agree with charmedlife357. I think the navy blue works well with your color scheme, and if your Fiance really wants it then maybe you can just add it in small touches. Think of it as your something blue! You can do navy blue vests and a few dark purpely/blue flowers, and maybe even blue shoes!! But I’m biased…because I’m wearing blue shoes to my wedding. I’m doing what you’re doing too though, it’s my color scheme but I’m adding in my SO’s little touches here and there and it’s turning into a beautiful meld. Think of how happy your Fiance will be to see something from his brain in his wedding day. I think it will make him feel more a part of it and really specail. I’m sure you’ll figure out something!!

Thank you polotsgirl! I couldn’t think of how else to incorporate navy blue without it taking over. I like the idea of having Navy Blue Shoes and dark blue flowers in the bouquets. My Fiance would definitely appreciate it as our accent color.
