I’m going to be ordering my wedding band this week from the Facets Collection (super excited!), but I’m not sure which ct weight to get…
I want a half eternity round channel set band. I have a round solitaire engagement ring that is .82 cts that will be paired with the wedding band. I’m not sure which ct weight in a half eternity wedding band would compliment my solitaire diamond size.

I have read that you should go closest to the total ct weight of the solitaire for a full eternity so mabe smaller for a 1/2 eternity. do they have like a .50cttw?

Yeah, I’ve heard something similar to that, too. I think for a half eternity ring I should go with half of my ct weight. Since I don’t have a full ct solitaire, technically, my wedding band should be around .40 cts……..
The Facets Collection (which is where I want to get my wedding band online) has the half eternity in either a .33 or .50 ct (obviously higher and lower ct weights, but those are the two I am deciding between).
Thoughts on a .33 or a .50?

Do you have a photo of your ring you could post to help us out?
Based on the descriptions, I’d say the PPs are probably on track with a 1/2 ct. I’s suggest just going to jewelry stores and trying the bands on with your e-ring to see what you like.

.5 but I like a bit of bling

I have to say .33 so that it doesn’t over power your engagement ring. However if you like lots of bling and don’t think it’ll over power your ring then get the 0.50.

My engagement ring will be 1 ct. and I tried on half eternity bands with it as well – I liked the 0.25 carat one the best.

@MademoiselleL: Do you have pictures you can share…your e-ring with the wedding band you tried?
