i picked Magic Kingdom because it’s during the holiday season and you could also get tickets for the christmas party.

but… if it were ME and i were only going for one day, i would upgrade my ticket to a parkhopper and spend the first half of my day epcot in world showcase to see all the different christmas stories… then i would head over to hollywood studios in time for the lighting of the osborne lights.

Magic Kingdom is my favorite and they are finishing working on a new castle (Belle’s).

I really loved Animal Kingdom too. I wasn’t that impressed with Epcot, we had our kids with though and it seemed like it was much more interesting for adults.

If you’ve never been, you should go to Magic Kingdom

I second the park hopper pass!

i just noticed where you said your husband has never been…. in that case, i would go for what you think would impress him the most and you know his personality to decide that.

I think MGM, Epcot or Universal Studios def have the most to do for adults. Magic Kingdom is definitely aimed to children.

You know that both Sea World or Universal Studios are nothing to do with Disney whatsoever, right?

How badly does your husband want to go to Disney? If he’s always wanted to go then Id say Magic Kingdom because that’s the main attraction. If he wants to go but isn’t dying to see everything then Id say either Animal Kingdom or Epcot. Animal Kingdom has a lot to see and you can spend an entire day there. Epcot is fun but can be more expensive since you’ll probably want to eat or drink at some of the countries. Honestly,  I dont think you could go wrong with MK, AK or Epcot.

I’ve never been but my husband loves Disney and we are planning a trip there right now actually. He said Epcot and Animal Kingdom are definitely the best/coolest for adults. Followed by Hollywood Studios and last would be Magic Kingdom.

here is my ideal romantic holiday experience at disney world.

start out at epcot… hit future world, especially the new test track (due to open back up on november 16). head over to San Angel Inn for a nice lunch and then meander your way through  world showcase.

leave through the international gateway and take a ferry to hollywood studios.

get tower of terror and rockin’ rollercoaster taken care of.

    eat dinner at mama melrose’s.

get yourself to the streets of america and enjoy the osborne lights and fake snow.

    the end.

now… if you do decide on magic kingdom, try to get a reservation for the Be Our Guest restaurant. it’s new and they start taking reservations on august 14. the new fantasyland expansion should be almost complete by the time you go so it should all be very beautiful and new.

@s.renea9:  in your case then Id say either Epcot or AK. What arent you sure about AK? I went there just a couple years ago and loved it. We spent almost a full day at AK. Universal will be fun if he wants to do a lot of roller coasters. But then again, he still won’t be able to say he’s been to Disneyworld after that 🙂

Guys tend to prefer Epcot to the Magic Kingdom.

The Magic Kindgom is PACKED on holidays – but there are lots of websites which show crowd calanders for each park on certain days (it depends on things like extra magic hours etc).

I’m going on my Honeymoon to Disney, and Epcot is the place we’ll end up spending the most time. The food is just AMAZING in that park, and I love all the technology/sciency bits.

It’s definitely the most ‘Grown Up’ of all the parks and it’s open longer than MGM/Hollywood Studios (FYI – it’s the same park – it USED to be MGM but they changed it to Hollywood).
