As part of our religion we sign something called a “Ketubah” which is basically a contract of marriage in the Jewish religion where the bride and groom commit to love, honor and respect one another.
My friend ordered her ketubah through this amazing artist (the colors in person are really vibrant and beautiful), I just can’t decide which one I like best – what are your thoughts?! By The Way I like more artsy-looks-like-a-painting types because I can hang it on the wall as a painting but Fiance likes a more “contract” look lol HELP!
OR if you see any others on her site you think are better, the site is 1800ketubah.com and you have to click PRINTS ! Please help!

omgosh nooooo it’s almost a perfect split! haha
@Sunnyday278: I originally loved 1 but I think the colors on 4 are so rich and beautifull AND it would be a great compromise b/w what both I love and my Fiance loves

I love 4. Design is great, and the colors are beautiful!

These are all amazing. I can’t even vote because they are all so beautiful. 1, 2, and 4 are my favorites (Sorry that’s not helpful at all!!)

I picked 2 because it’s my personal favorite and I think it’s a good compromise between what you want and what he wants.

I personally love 4 best, but I voted for 3 because I think it’s the best mix of both your styles.

i guess it depends on where you will be hanging it and what the decor of that room is like.
the colours are gorgeous but i like things a bit more neutral. i’d pick #3. it looks lovely framed and still would please your fi because it still looks like a contract.

I voted for 1. 4 is my next fav

ahh the more i look at 4 the more I love it…
@mypinkshoes: I think that’s part of the problem since we don’t own a home yet so it makes it harder to envision what it would look like

#1 was one of your runner up ketubah so I voted for that one. Although I really also love #2.

My mouth dropped when I looked at #2 and I said a long drawn out “wow!” Personally, I like #1 too but if your husband-to-be doesn’t, then that one should be out. #3 looks nice at first, but I feel like it’s not very classic and you wouldn’t like the style of it in the future (and therefore will not want to hang/display it). I’m ambivalent towards #4 and 5. I’m not Jewish, so I just don’t really get those two.
I really think #2 is gorgeous and timeless. It seems to have a lot of important Jewish elements hidden in it, and I think the overall impact of the design is stunning. That’s my opinion.
