MrsSparkleBee13:I know it doesn’t look like much space, but here’s a shot of underneath mine and every band I’ve tried fits under. Even some that are pretty tall. I know we don’t have the same rings, maybe it’ll help a little?

Eta: can you ask for the measurement under the halo? Then see how tall your band is to and that should help?

For some reason I can’t vote from my phone today so I’ll cast my choice in writing…. Pave all the way way! The plain shank is very similar to your previous ring ( which is still my absolute favorite halo) so I would love to see you modeling the split shank!

MrsSparkleBee13:  just curious, why did you sell your Amora DK halo for the oval? I thought it was your dream!

MrsSparkleBee13:  I would go with the plain shank double halo. Both are beautiful, but the split shank is very faint.

I think in the spirit of change, you should do the pave split shank. It’s gorgeous and you have already done the plain shank! As long as you’re changing go all the way! Beautiful inspiration pics! Good luck! Hope you love the stone when it arrives on Monday. Sometimes, I wonder if keeping what I have until I’m sure what I’m getting is better! I hope it is everything you love and more!

    I like the pave.

It is a lot of bling, especially when you add a wedding band into the mix but I just feel it looks more “finished”.

Also – wouldn’t be too happy with the “not sure” response from JA. I’d push back on that and say you need further clarification.

Plain shank. Loved it since the first time I saw it.

MrsSparkleBee13:  Or could they send you a wax model of the ring to try on with your bands to make sure they fit the way you want before they cast it? You could avoid having to send them your wedding band this way.

I love the pave and the plain shank, so I am not helpful, haha. Both have their appeal!

Without taking previous rings you have done into considerations, I would choose the plan shank, to show off the halo more and it would show off any pave rings you could stack with it really well.

However, since you have already done a plan shank halo, IF your rings fit with the setting, I would go with the pave.

Normally I am all for a plain shank halo, but here I 100% prefer the pave band!

ETA I saw your other post about the stonw being warm.. If you got the plain shank you could totally find a champagne stone pave ring to play up the color.. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

While I typically LOVE plain shanks with single halos, I actually like the pave shank with the double halo better!  Love the Oval with the double halo, ovals are one of my FAVS.  Can’t wait to see your finished ring ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜‰

What color oval did you end up buying? I have an I color with G side stones -‘it’s hard to tell the difference unless it’s just the right light. I love ovals
