MrsSparkleBee13:  Your new stone is beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!! I love the color. So incredibly pretty. And it looks like the stone sparkles like crazy, too. I’m excited for you and can’t wait to see it in the new setting!

MrsSparkleBee13:  That is somewhat surprising that DK charges seem to have increased, but DK is now the ‘dahling’ of custom rings now (and rightly so) so I guess his prices are reflective of that. And you’re probably better off anyway, since you will get exactly the proportions you love with JA without the worry about the final product. 😉 when do you ship your stone off? Hope Valentine’s Day doesn’t delay you too much!

I have a split shank halo and my wedding band anniversary bands sit flush. I don’t like the look of pave halo with a plain shank. A plain shank is nice on a solitaire. Go for the pave shank.

The bowtie is fairly pronounced, but the shape of the stone is pleasing. I really like my warmer stone, hope you do too.

I love the first picture you posted – the split shank double halo with the pave band.  Something about the double halo and the plain shank just seems off to me.
