Okay so I have actually put a deposit down on the first dress already because I loved the detail, lace, flowers, etc and the train is so pretty. It hasn’t been altered to fit me yet so it is hard to say if it will actually fit my body well. After looking at the pictures of this one and another I tried on . . . the other seems to fit better but then again was a smaller size. So now I am confused. Help!

Definately the first one! Are you keeping the bow?

i voted #1. i think the shape on you is perfection! i’m not a huge fan of those appliques, but if you like it go for it!
i don’t like dress #2 on anyone, to be honest! please don’t get it!

Yes . . . they had added trying to tighten the waist for me because the zipper wasn’t working properly. I loved the bow/sash so much because in person it made the little flowers pop (they are a really light pink). I couldn’t tell from the picture if it was unflattering for my figure or just because it needed to be altered.

The first dress is gorgeous! Remember, you picked it for a reason. It’s not been altered yet, so of course you’re not loving the fit! That can be fixed easily. Stick with #1.

See that is what I thought about #2 in person. I am going for vintage, something with lace, but I do not like how low cut it is both in front and in the back. But when I showed picture number 1 to my Dad the first thing he said to me was “Boy you have put on weight haven’t you” and now I feel super self-concious about that dress.

I LOVE the first dress on you, even without the alterations.

Dress #1 is wayyyyyy better than #2. It looks prettier and more flattering and everything.

I voted dress # 1 bc we will be dress twins! 🙂
i felt the exact same way when I saw the photos of me in the too big sample. Had some serious dress regret. But when I got my dress in my size with a few minor alterations it looked so much more flattering. A whole different fit almost and now I looooove it.
Im thinking about doing a bit of a sweetheart too as I think it fits the romantic look of the dress better than the current neckline. I’m also doing the blush sash 🙂 yay!

Don’t listen to your Dad – you look great!

I think you may be drawn to the simple elegance of the second dress and the fact that it makes your waist look extremely tiny. However, I think the second dress will end up giving you (and would give most women) more cleavage than you may be comfortable with on your wedding day and in your pictures. I also do not think that it looks as expensive as the first gown. You original dress is beautiful. I think I would keep it.
