Hi Bees! We are newly engaged and it’s starting to feel very real now that I’ve tried on a few dresses! We will be getting married on the beach in Oregon September 2017– if you’re not familiar, do a quick Google image search for “Oregon Coast”. It’s absolutely lovely! I probably will be wearing flats, and am leaning toward a low messy bun on the side.
I’ve narrowed it down to two dresses and I would love your input! The first is Watters WToo’s Eloise– it’s a more fitted silhouette with a puddle train. I’d like to lose 20-25#, plus the sample was a little snug, so the back would ultimately be more flattering than in the pic. I really liked the wrap top on this dress. The bling on the ribbon is supposed to be positioned above the pleating on the skirt, which I realized when I googled the dress after the appointment.

The second dress is Watters’ Cassia, which is a BHLDN exclusive. The silhouette is different, but I liked the flowy skirt with a fitted bodice. I can envision a delicate, pretty tiara in my hair with this dress. I am leaning a certain way but would love some objective opinions! (also, pardon the photos, I didn’t plan on posting them when I had my mom take them)

I love dress 2! It’s so much more flattering and classic than dress 1. I wish your post had a poll option!

Dress 2 looks like it was made for you! You look stunning in it and it flatters your figure perfectly!

Congratulations! Both dresses are very pretty, but I think I like the second one better. I love the interplay of sheer and beading on the bodice. One potential problem with the second dress is that it could be harder to find undergarments for, since it has such thin straps and a low back. (As a big-boobed woman myself, this was a concern when picking out my wedding dress.) I think that the wrap style on the first dress makes it look more casual (not that that is necessarily a bad thing.) Also it may just be my eyes, but I’d choose a different colored sash, because the one in the pic is so close to your skin color.

LLEU : The undergarment thing is definitely a consideration! It’s at the beach so I’m fine with casual, and I want to be comfortable dancing in whatever dress I chooise. The Eloise was super supportive. I may need to go purchase a bra before my second appointment with the Cassia (I’m trying on both again).

#2 looks great on you and although I personally like it better than #1, #1’s style seems like it would fit the beachy theme better. What does the train on #2 look like? I do like #1 as well and I think it will look just as awesome on you as the other once it’s fitted properly.
