    I chose #2, but I agree with other posters…no matter what dress, I think you should try a sash/belt.

    I thought 1 looked OK on you – it definitely gives your waist definition and is cute, but your figure looks amazing in #2.  Can you add a sweetheart neckline to it? I think it would look really flattering with the line of your shoulders and neck.

    I would do #2 with a sash and a sweetheart neckline! ๐Ÿ™‚

    #2 is much more flattering and even though I love lace, I like it much more than #1 overall.

    Sigh, I’m always alone in my dress picks. I like the first one infinitely more.

    @Mrs.tobe: Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚

    I would get the first dress and:

    – Change it into a sweetheart

    – Make sure in alterations the top doesn’t cut into your chest as much and make it look as if you have armpit fat

    – Wear a belt or sash

    – Adjust the tulle/crinoline right below the waist so it doesn’t poof out that suddenly

    The second dress does make you look slimmer because of #1 needing the adjustments above, but honestly, I don’t see anything about it that makes it the most special dress you’ll ever wear.

    @meliss: I agree with all that! Not to mention, think how beautifully dress number one will photograph in comparison to number two.

    I just love all the detail.

    It’s funny to me, because I’m usualy not a fan of lace, but I like #1 better.  #2 is just too plane for me as a brides gown.  I am having my BMs in a dress exactly like #2 but with a brooch on the side.  Both are lovely, and either will look gorgeous with the right accessories ๐Ÿ™‚
