I think the organza dress is more flattering on your figure. Plus I like the sash, it accents the small waist.

Yea, the lace makes you look a bit boxy. I love the second one.

Normally, I would say lace because I love love love lace; however, I really think the organza is much more flattering on you. If you really love the lace, I think it would be much more flattering if you changed it to a sweetheart neckline without the straps.

I love the lace dress, it’s sooo beautiful, and I know you always wanted a lace dress. Having said that, the second dress looks very pretty on you as well. Is that the Amsale Tyler?

I understand, I had the same problem. I always felt body-conscious in tight mermaid dresses and unfortunately most pretty lace dresses I looked at were in that silhouette. The other dress does look a lot more comfortable. And there’s something to be said about being able to twirl on the dance floor with a flowy skirt like that 🙂

Maybe you’ll end up wearing two dresses like me?

@Amaryllis: I think that if you added a trumpet style crinoline it would give you more definition where you want it. It would give more of an hourglass shape, and I think that would look really good. As for the fit, you can always add a corset back to it. That would give you more room to grow or shrink.

I think they are both great, but that Organza one is perfect.

If you really want lace then ROCK The lace one! You don’t want to look back and wish you would have worn the lace one!

I learned the hard way NOT to ask for too many opinions…follow your heart! You look beautifull.
